How do you remove the hush tip from the hush muffler on the K.61?

If you look inside the exhaust outlet, you will see a 1/4 hex nut. There are 2 jamed so you must remove one at time.

Thanks! That's what I thought but wanted to make sure. Looks like a small amount of silicon sealer is used on the front part of the tip.

Is the end of the stud peaned?
