Is there a special tool I can get or make to hold the head of an Atom 3rd model while I try to remove the spark plug?
TIA, Walt

Walt , I suppose a 3/4" piece of wood with a hole the diameter of the head with a 1/8" slot on one side ,then put the head in it ,clamp it in a vice & unscrew the plug . Should come out . MAX H.

Thanx, Max. Was thinking of something like that too. Didn't know if I should try for something to engage the head fins or not. Don't want to damage them. Guess I should submerge the heads in penetrating oil for a while beforehand also.

I like to use a LPG torch to heat things up also . You may need to make a notched wooden wrench out of some hard wood that will engage the cylinder fins from the top . Some thing like they use to take the rear covers off an Arden. Heat will really help . MAX H.
