Torpedo .40 RC engine identification

Postby American buyer » Thu Aug 11, 2011 8:26 am

I have a K&B .40 with the exhaust on the opposite side of the others I have it is the older small front bearing type. Is it a counter- rotating engine? (clockwise)

Probably not. I have run K&B 40's with the exhaust pointing in either direction. The only thing is that you have to keep the front of the rod facing the crankshaft, which means taking it off the piston pin and turning it around. For control line stunt, I saw no difference in how the engines ran.
