heat shielding on goodyear wing

Postby elder46 » Mon Nov 26, 2012 10:26 am

I am building a SIG Buster and planning to mount an older MVVS diesel on it. The engine has a rear exhaust, which I was told that was the way it really should be used. My question: How do I heat shield the balsa wing on the Buster so as not to burn it to a crisp? Is distance from wing enough, or does it need more? Same question for the tank...

Not an issue whatsoever. Just build it as you would for a side exhaust.
