Looking for a used but good complete Cox production engine with at least dual ports. Must be a runner and complete. This is for a project for some home brew mods. No sure starts or broken mess I need a good runner. Want what you want for it and not ask me what its worth. Give total with postage. I was going to get them on ebay but most are single port.

I have over 100 cox engines of various types in a big box. Are you looking for Baby Bee, Tee-Dee, etc. I need a little more detail to build you one.

I am looking for product engine that came in ME-109 stunter. Dual ports. Also they used them in Chipmonk and Viper. No tank just black or red mount with needle valve Or just a matched piston and liner with dual ports.
Thank you for reply

All sure starts are dual ported that I have ran across. The Vendors on ebay are ok and reasonable. Coxengines.ca is about the biggest with whats availble.

If you took the piston and cylinder from a sure start and one from a TD, you couldn't tell them apart.
As a matter of fact, I bought a couple dozen sure starts when they were $6.95 and took them apart and sold the piston and cylinders separately. I made more form the plugs than I paid for the engines.
I tried the P/C on a TD 049 and they ran just as strong.

Easy to tell a dual intake port Cox by removing the head & looking in the cylinder with the piston at the bottom of the stroke. They will be rounded like the end of your finger. Max H. :
