K & B .40 # 4011 / J93 4011

Postby jerry07_58 » Thu Jul 07, 2005 6:35 pm

Hello All,
I have a chance to purchase a NIB K & B .40. The only thing missing is the Needle Valve and Muffler screws. I have searched the parts manual to see what I need to order but I am a little confused.
On the mounting ear of the engine it indicates "J93 4011". I assume this indicates the manufactured year "1993".

Can someone direct me to the correct carburetor parts break down? I am assuming it is this one.

Your help would be highly appreciated.

Thank You

any .45 sportster carb should be a direct bolt in replacement on this engine.. you might have more luck trying to find one of those whole. also, any of the old 2 needle k&b carbs should work as well.. as long as the throat diameter is the same.

Muffler screws on the K&B 4011 are 5 x 40. I have one where the previous owner made 6 x 32's work.
