K&B 3.5 problem!

I have a outboard 3.5...I was testing it today and noticed that it has a pinkish substance that comes out of the part where the lower unit attaches to the head...I need to know if i put a gasket there will that work?...and i know that it is exaust i think///my fuel is Pink and it looks just like the stuff that comes out of the exasust end...so why does this happen.I have the same egine on another boat and dont have the same problem?

i have a K&B 3.5 o/b also sounds like the o'ring at exh.adapt. into leg is gone or squeezin out ofit's lil home :wink:
