OK Cub .149 Pusher Model???

Postby davideo4301 » Sat May 02, 2009 4:54 pm

I recently acquired an OK Cub .149 on EBay and I am a little confused about its origin. The forward crankcase housing is shorter than normal and there is a ball type thrust bearing wedged between the prop fitting and the crankcase. Does anyone know if the manufacturer made such a thing, or perhaps it's a one of, by some clever modeler? Thanks, David

I don't know about length of the crankcases, but there were 14s with long and short drive plates. Ball bearings or whatever, I don't remember any.

Thanks for that info! It is probably a one of mod for a boat or pusher propeller.
