Yep.
Friend of mine has taken off the injection system on XJ6s and replaced it with SUs or side draft Weber carbs several times.

I think he's talking about model airplane engines and the answer is yes depending on the way the carb mounts. If he's talking about automobile engines then you are on the wrong site.
