What is the correct way to remove the prop driver for tee dee /medallion engines?

Remove the backplate, piston and cylinder. Place the engine, backplate side down, on a smooth surface. Screw in a prop screw. Put a piece of wood on the prop screw and tap on it until the crankshaft and prop driver separate. When you put the driver back, get it lined up with the splines on the crankshaft. Put a prop on and tighten things down until the driver is seated.
