I call that one "Ole Crusty" LOL! That's what happens when an engine sits on a concrete floor in a damp basement for 10 years. Engine has next to no run time, what a shame.

The old "penny slot" is a nice old thing though......was my first engine that my Dad bought home in the late '40s.

It does have the wrong prop. nut on it as you are probably aware.

Have often thought of looking for one just for nostalgic reasons.

I always thought the prop nut looked too fancy for the vintage. Just a plain nut and washer then? I bought this new, 20 years ago from a collector friend. It sat on my shelf for a few years and I decided to fire it up. Other than the odd finger bite at start up, it is a fine running little engine. One of my favorites.

Yes, I've been watching that one on ebay, I see it's at $150. Not often you see one with the box.

To insert a picture here changed just recently, all the spam recently has made it necessary. You'll actually have to type in a bit of code,

< img src="http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x132/fmklenk/mccoy60olecrusty.jpg"/ >

The above is what it would look like, copy your link from your host and paste it here and then add the appropriate letters and signs to make it look as above.
