DUMAS HOT SHOT 45

I JUST BOUGHT THIS COMPLETE SETUP AND GENTLEMAN THAT BOUGHT AND BUILT IT ALSO ADDED TRIM, IMPRESSED WITH ALL HIS WORK AND ATTENTION FOR DETAIL BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS THE KIT CAME WITH NEITHER SHOWED OR MENTIONED THIS MOD. WOULD I BE SAFE TO REMOVE THE TRIM ADJUSTMENT AND HARD MOUNT THE K&B 7.5 STRAIGHT TO THE BOAT? I ONLY ASK THIS CAUSE IT MAKES NO VISABLE DIFFERANCE OR IMPROVEMENT PROFORMANCE WISE ON THE WATER THAT I CAN NOTICE.

You should always have an adjustable motor mount to adjust the boats ride. If not that trim tabs would prolly work 2. I would leave them on if bolting the motor straight to the hull. It might ride low in the water or blow over if not trimmed right.
