New carb on old engine

Postby Mr. Slingshot » Sun Dec 05, 2004 1:23 pm

I have an old K&B 7.5 inboard marine engine with rear exhaust(bought in 1975). I would like to run an external needle valve assembly and a new style carb. The engine has been ported and has extensive flow work done to the engine. Is it possible to buy a new end plate to accept a new carb. Also what carb would be appropriate for a highly modified engine? I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

What is the hole size you need it to fit into. .437 or .625?
