Bearing Removal on K&B .61

Postby mikewilson30 » Wed Feb 02, 2005 10:22 pm

I need to replace both the front and rear bearings on my K&B .61 Ringed RC Engine. I can't see how to remove the rear bearing.

My engine has a rear "pumper" for fuel. I have not seen any exploded diagrams or maintanence procedures for this unit.

Thank you,

Mike Wilson

You need to heat the crankcase like shown in
http://www.mecoa.com/faq/cyl/remove.htm
then holding the case tap the back on a piece of wood to make the weight of the bearing force it out.

I will get pic of this up at

http://www.mecoa.com/faq/index.htm

soon.
