Torpedo 29

I have an older Torpedo age unknown 00665 stamped on engine mount the drive hub ( I think thats what it's called ) is 1in. dia. I want to use this on a Zilch Exp. and it calls for a 1 1/2 in spinner. The D.H. is to big to fit on the spinners I have found. Can I have this ground down with out harming anything ? Also the needle valve is to short how can I extend this? Lee

Not much to do about the needle unless you solder a piece of brass tube onto it.
As for the prop driver (see http://www.mecoa.com/faq/terminology/terminology.htm
for the correct terms)
it should be ok to turn it down a little. But do so at your own risk.
