I recently acquired a K&B .61 with a square type carb. The engine is new and never been run. There was a notice in the box that said: " ... use only CASTOR OIL based fuel. This engine will not operate properly on synthetic oil fuels."
Is this still true ? What do I need to do if it is?
I have been using OMEGA 10% castor/synthetic in my other engines.

Castor/synthetic blend is fine but make sure you have at least 18% (preferably 20%) oil.
