Motor Plate removal?

I just bought a used 3.5 motor and im wondering how to remove the pin for the mounting bracket.

I Guess you're refering to an outboard.

You have to take the 4 screws out of the PTO plate and loosen the screws that hold the lower end halves together. The pin will slide out the top.

Look at the exploded view...
