vintage 1980 3.5 outboard

Back in 1980 when the K & B 3.5 outboard was brand new, I bought one. I have one in mint condition, but it was never "updated" when K & B changed th throttle setup. Also, it was never run. I am now ready to use it. I need to know if anyone has a throtlle package that updated the"old" style, original 3.5's and also if it can still be useable (and any starting prep) after all these years.

you can leave the exhaust throttle wide open when using the carb.
