K&B head and backplate bolt sizes (15/2.5cc and 21/3.5cc

I have a 3.5cc Model 8900 aero engine and a .15 Model 8301 aero engine and I have been unable to determine the thread size for the cylinder head and backplate bolts in either case. I've tried various metric and non-metric sizes without success. Please put me out of my misery.

3.5 uses a std 4-40 UNF thread

I don't know on the 8301 although I am fairly sure it is an American thread.
