air fuel settings

could someone please advise me of the correct air fuel mixture settings for a K&B3.5 outboard ( i have been told 3 and a 1/2 turns but still no luck)

do i need to have the fuel line and presure lines at a set length ??

each time i go to run the engine on my boat it will run for about 10 to 15 ft then stall

anybody got some tips that may be helpful

What hull and prop are you running? How deep do you have the motor set and what fuel?
