K&B 7.5 outboard

Postby KernalFlagg » Tue Jan 09, 2007 9:45 pm

I have an older K&B 7.5 outboard, I believe it is an 8701, possibly an 8702. It has a square carb.

My question: Can I buy a later model carb, such as the Kavan carb to replace the one I have that is really worn out. Or is it possible to buy a new square carb? The needle valve assembly on mine is pretty much shot as is the barrel stop screw.

Is also need to buy a new prop.

Any help, especially on the carb, would be GREATLY appreciated!

We have all the parts for the square carb but not complete carburetors
see

Depending on the neck diameter you can use the Kavan carb
Unfortunatly the later 7.5 uses a .625 diameter and kavan has none that big.

we carry Prather props listed here
