K&B .61 carb assembly

Bought a used K&B .61 with a seized carb. Propane torch heated and it fell apart nicely. Cleaned it up and reassembled. The throttle arm and carb cylinder turn VERY nicely. The fuel intake and needle housing do not stay on the engine. Am I missing a piece? It seems like this piece fits to the square carb by compression fit but it's so loose it won't stay on the carb.

This is just pressed into the housing and heating may have distorted the body. Maybe JB weld or buy a new body.
