I pulled the leaking head and found an aluminum flat gasket ring warped and out of shape. I ordered an\ new head gasket and got rubber o rings... is this the proper replacement? thanks for your help

I put in the o rings sent ans as suspected they completely melted. this CANNOT be the right part! Although the parts list says its correct. please help

Actually if you read the notation in the parts dept and on the parts list the o-ring was only used on the very early models. It was later replaced by the metal shim.
