determining compression ratio for 0% nitro

Postby wurstedneptune » Thu Feb 21, 2008 10:45 am

I am looking to use fuel without any nitro. I was on the faq section and measured my k&b-61 I measured the cylinder/ piston depth to be .195 and the head height to be .171 so I have a clearence of .024" What compression ratio works best for 0% glow and how do I calculate the compression ratio.

Higher compression for less nitro. You have to try experiment with it. It all changes with different altitude and air density.
