7.5 SS outboard exhaust

hello,

I recently purchased a used 7.5 SS outboard engine. The exhaust tips are contacting the rear sponsons on my Prather Spitfire II, sevearly cutting down on my turning ability. The pictures you guys show of the SS engine the tips point straight out while mine point down. Aside from cutting the tips or doing some major mods to my sponsons, what are my options? Do you guys sell an exhaust with tips that come straight out or do I have to grind down my tips?

Never had anyone mention this. The engine is quieter with them pointing down, I can see if we have any of the other style.

Or maybe by straight you mean no outward angle too?
