Older style carbs?

Postby K+B.91 » Wed May 20, 2009 4:48 am

I see that you have part lists for the older style .45-.82 carb that had the removable venturi, with different length options. It is the carb that preceded the '94 style carb on your IB marine engines.
My question is: Do you still manufacture this carb, and if so, do you have them in stock?
Thanks.
Tony.

No complete carbs, Just parts are available at this time. Also this carb was not used on the 7.5 - only the .61 and larger.

Thank you for your reply, but now you have confused me further.
If this carb was not used on the 7.5, then why did all mine come with one installed from the factory?
It is identical to every other 7.5IB that I purchased back in the 90's, up until the change to the'94' style carb.
I purchased (3) .45IB engines, (2) .67IB and (3) .82IB engines in 1991, they all came with the same carb. The venturi size is identical on all, but I had different length venturii's fitted, they are all interchangible from one carb to another.
Regards.
