Stallion .35 info and parts needed.

Postby dedaddy007 » Sun Jul 26, 2009 7:47 pm

I am restoring a 1963 Stallion .35 to running condition. I am missing the plastic venturi insert. Is one available or does someone out there have one I could buy or trade for? I will take a whole engine if necessary.

Also, my engine is missing the head gasket. Is one available? I can make one but I need information. Is is a fiber or metal gasket? Does it cover the entire cylinder to the outer edge or just to the screw holes. How thick is it?

Finally, does someone have a copy of the instructions or parts list for this engine. I will pay for a copy.

Thanks,
Lee

We don't have any parts for this engine anymore.

Try posting in the wanted section of this forum.

The gasket does go to the outer edge of the cylinder.

If I can find an owners guide I will post a copy.

I do have the restrictor. Yours for your address. If you want the whole engine less drive washer and needle valve assembly 15 bucks will do it. Send me your address.

I'm packing up the engine, venturi restrictor and enough material to make two gaskets. It's the original fiber gasket material. I'll send it all off tomorrow. You can send money or OS carbs. Whatever you feel it's worth.

Be advised, I DID NOT steal this from Hobby Shack when I worked there contrary to what a few people here will say. The Shack didn't exist when the Stallions were sold and we didn't sell used engines at Hobby Shack.
