Crankshaft Bearings for 6.5cc pylon R.I.R.E

Postby mart101 » Tue Sep 15, 2009 5:51 am

Hi,
I'm a little confused over what bearings to use.
The bearings measure .375x.875x.218.
The bearings are pressed on to the shaft, I have tried using KLNJ 3/8 bearings but they are standard clearance bearings and slide over the shaft easily.
Do you have the correct press fit bearings ? will the other bearings suit
if I use a bit of Loctite ?
thanks
martin

I don't know what a KLNJ 3/8 bearing is.

A slight press fit is OK. I don't know how loose your are.

We also use special nylon retainers for hight RPM oeration.
