Modifying nitro marine race motors is a fine art and most high performance tuners/engine builders will likely be reluctant to reveal their secrets. I don't recall any being members of these forums. You might try a google search, contacting your local model boat club, checking the IMPBA site for links to motor tuners, etc...

K&B motors can be tuned for more power but the reliability drops when pushed too hard. Most tuners prefer the beefy Italian motors from Picco, CMB, OPS and others as they seem more able to handle the high power and high nitro fuels better.

Keep looking, you'll find something eventually. Sorry I can't offer any help as I always left my K&B 3.5cc motors basically stock and only played with carbs and tuned pipes for more power.

I will not answer questions about modifying our engines. If you want to modify something you should know what you are doing and if you ask how and screw something up who gets blamed.
