I have a K&B Torpedo 40, that has a P stamped on the front of the cylinder head. What does this mean

This was probably for the Pylon Racing engine built in the 1970's -- Is yours a rear intake engine?

No both my 40's are front intake, with a P stamped on the front of the head.
