.67 Marine Inboard, flywheel

Postby Charlottedarter » Wed May 21, 2008 8:01 pm

I have installed the new crankshaft I received from you in my .67 K&B, marine inboard, and am having difficulty getting the flywheel to seat on the crank shaft extention out the end of the motor. Is there a trick to getting it to seat? I realize it is a compression fit, but I would rather get it right rather than break something.

Help please!?

You must tighten the flywheel nut to make the collet colapse and seat on the shaft.
