i have an old 3.5 outboard with the short skeg a it is cracked around the allen key that holds the carb in which i believe may be causing uncontrolled reving like revving flat out with no control i have aquired the front end for the motor new old stock new crank bearing housing etc etc but it has the 13mm crank will it fit in the older style 3.5 or will the stroke be different causing the piston to hit the head the new old part dosent have the oil hole in it so its quite old itself any help much apprieciated also is there any easy way to remove the the flywheel without using a puller and would i have to replace the collet thanks my pride is on the line if got to beat a china job

The parts will interchange. You have to either press the crank out of the flywheel or use a puller.
