HP 61 - mixture adjustment

Postby Lysander » Mon Nov 13, 2006 10:57 am

I have been given an HP 61 which must be over 20 years old but runs beautifully still. This is a make of glow motor that I have not seen before and I wondered if there is an adjustment for a second needle? I don't suppose there is a pdf file manual I can download for the engine? It is all silver with a front mounted carb. It has a knurled needle vlave adjustment for the main jet and below that is a much large knurled disc about 1/2 in diamater - if that helps identify the particular variant. If it is possible to post jaypegs I could send a picture but as a new member don't know if this is possible.[/img]

The large disk is the idle mixture adjustment. It should only be moved 5 degrees in either direction.
