HP 49 VT Exhaust header question

Postby Dad_Roman » Wed Dec 05, 2007 1:13 pm

Hi, I have an Austrian version that I've recently acquired. The header swivels up and down as the engine revs. Is there a gasket or copper ring that should insert in the head before installing the header nut? The header is not flared at the end of the pipe for the nut to grab onto and seal, should there be some sort of flange or flare on the end of the header pipe? Is there an exploded diagram to properly identify the parts of this engine? Thanks for the help...Shane
