HP .15 Rear Rotor - Info?

Postby dedaddy007 » Tue Apr 12, 2011 7:40 pm

I got an old speed plane that had this engine literally glued into the fuselage. I can find no information on it. I managed to get it apart and clean it up enough to find it in good shape. The bearings are frozen but I think I can get replacements. The rear drum valve and cylinder are machined to a very high standard.

Does anyone know when this engine was built? Does anyone have a picture of the needle valve assembly? This one had been modified greatly. The mounting lugs were ground off the sides. There is only two screws holding the back plate on. Is there any way to include pictures in a posting?

If anyone has information on this engine, please pass it on to dedaddy007@comcast.net.

Thanks,

This was made in the mid to late 60's - no parts are available as it was a limited production engine.
