carb parts - hb pdp 21

Postby petermayhem » Sun Jan 30, 2011 9:12 pm

i broke my main needle valve on my perry carb - i think it is the medium size carb because i have another perry carb on another hb pdp 21 engine i own and it is a lot smaller . is it possible to order a new needle valve for the carb i have --- i don't know which one it is - i only know that it is larger than the other one i have - both come from early hb pdp 21 model engines prior to 1985 .
the only info i have is it says pat no. 3.547.415 on the side of the carb. also i saw that carb 3501 is a replacement perry carb for this engine - only one carb - how would that explain that i have two very different sized carbs for this one type engine ?
any help would be appreciated.?

This style needle?

Probably our part number 85-0502 or 85-0202 will work as it is for the smaller carb.

it wasn't actually the needle like i thought .. its the piece the needle screws into inside the carb body ... i can't remember what it is called . i have a picture i just can't figure out how to load it. it broke in to two pieces so now my needle has nowhere to screw to.. truth is the carb i have ...the needle must be an older version it doesn't seem to have a spring ?
