Forster 99

Just to let you know that the rod & other parts came VERY fast .
When I first looked in the engine it looked like a piece was broken out of the rod side beam .When I put in the new rod I found out that it was a casting flaw as it had nice rounded edges . The new rod was not a "I" beam but fit perfectly . Guess the Forster boys were lacking in quality control some what . Doubt if it would have failed but it was not run much as the hole in the spray bar was off about 90 degrees & was blocked . Live & learn . Thanks , MAX H.
