DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA OF THE ORIGIN OF THIS ENGINE. THE DISPLACEMENT IS 2 CUBIC INCHES. CAME WITH A 20 INCH PROP. WORKMANSHIP IS SUPERIOR.

I don't recognize it but notice that it has some of the characteristics of Bunch's Mighty Midgets. I do note that the ignition timer appears to be backwards. As shown, the moving point will not be contacted by the cam on the drive washer.

The prop drive washer is shown out of place. It should be seated over the flats on the crankshaft and shifted to the right. The back of the prop washer has the cam surface which pushes a pin located in the timer arm in and out parallel to the crankshaft. The pin pushes on the end of the spring holding the movable point. Don't have a good picture.

The cast timer arm looks like classic M&M made by M&M wheel of Seattle Washington. The rod that opens and closes the points is M&M too.
