Hi ,
I have a K&B 3.5 Outboard Engine that has ( K 94 305 )
stamped on one side.
when I removed the head I notice the sleeve was rasied and not flushed with the crankcase and there was a shim in place on the threaded spacer.
is this normal? there is a gap between the crankcase & head spacer and you can see the threads on the head bolts.
shouldn't this be flushed? (the sleeve with the crankcase)
I will have to tear it down again for a pic. if this will help.
